Gospel Community Church from Fort Wayne, IN trekked down a few states to
work with HH2G in July this year... one of the hottest months in the
year...crazy folks! However, they persevered in the heat and made a huge
difference in the lives of Ms. Joseph and her family. The team spent
the week caulking, painting, and doing some finishing work on the
exterior of Ms. Joseph's home in New Orleans.
They stood on the ground
on chairs,
and on reeeeallly tall ladders.
Always some sort of adventure
on the jobsites!
Ms. Joseph's home is now nearly finished, thanks to
the valiant efforts of the various teams that hav
e assisted Ms. Joseph
and her family with their home during these past few months. Thanks
Gospel Community crew for bringing the family so much closer to the
finishing line!
Oh yeah, almost forgot to mention that the record of 70 meatballs has
been broken by the courageous Justes King. He looked a bit green in the
face by the end, but he conquered 71 meatballs this trip!
